The Goal we have set ourselves, is to offer Education & Skill Development to Engineering students & graduates in the field of Automation. In order to achieve this, we realize that we need to first create an awareness about the tremendous potential this field offers, amongst students & faculty. Coming from the background of the Industry, we feel the need to make them understand the expectations of the Industry from them. Hence, we conduct some short term programs where we can give an introductory insight into this field.

INTERNSHIPS

We conduct 2 week long Internship programs where we are able to impart to the students some knowledge of the fundamentals of an Automation system; teach them Electrical Basics as required for a Control Panel and programming using Smart Relays. This Internship Program will serve as a wonderful starting platform on which they can build on their Automation knowledge in terms of PLC or SCADA programming and Solution Architecture. We award a certificate at the end of this program, which can be useful to the student for future career opportunities. We also encourage them to come back & continue the internship during all their vacations, so that they can successfully complete our CIC program. To keep their interest alive in the subject, we send them questions & problems, which will help them refresh their memory....contd

WORKSHOPS

We conduct workshops in colleges to introduce Automation to students. The agenda in these workshops is to sufficiently explain to them the various opportunities available to them and the need for Skill Development to meet the Industry’s expectations. Depending on the duration of the workshop, we take the students through the technical aspects of Automation. The topics we cover are Electrical Fundamentals, Components of an Automation System, Solution building using Electrical wiring, Translation of the same to programming using smart relays. We also delve into PLC programming, depending on the allocated time and the infrastructure available in the college.

MINI PROJECTS & FINAL YEAR PROJECTS

We help students work on their III Year Mini Projects, and the Final Year projects. We first teach students the basics of Automation and then guide them to use their Engineering knowledge and the basic knowledge that we provide and come up with a solution to a Project requirement. The Project is entirely done by the student and we can endorse confidently that we guide them in such a way that they know exactly what they are doing. The Final Year project is a very important part of a Job interview and it is imperative that the student knows clearly what he/she has worked on.
